Sirens: Whenever you hear the fire siren, remember it means volunteer firefighters are responding to help you or one of your neighbors

Please keep all matches and lighters out of the reach of children!  Reemphasize the dangers of playing with matches to your children!  Be sure all cigarettes are out and fireplaces should be out and protective screen glass doors should be closed.

Please familiarize your family with the use of an extinguisher and keep one readily available, especially in the kitchen!

Please keep hydrants clear of garbage, weeds and snow during winter months), to avoid delays in getting water to the fire!  Help the fire department to protect you and your neighbors.  If you know of any hydrants that are out of order, please notify the Fire Department

Please make sure your home number is clearly visible from the street so that we may find your house as quickly as possible.

Check your smoke detector's batteries!  They should be replaced when daylight savings time starts.  Your detector should be checked weekly to ensure it is operating properly.  They can't save your life if they don't work!
