Burning Brush or Yard Debris.  READ BEFORE YOU BURN.

Spring Forest Fire Hazard Season began on Feb. 15. and runs through April 30. During this time, it is illegal to set a fire within 150 feet of any woodland or brushland, except between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. or when the ground is covered with snow.

***In Kentucky, we have two official fire hazard seasons as established by the state legislature in KRS. 149.400. The fire seasons run from February 15 - April 30 and October 1- December 15. Click on the KRS to see the law.
